The Sungai Brooke Small Hydropower Plant (SHP Sg. Brooke) is a 12.0 MW facility located in Lojing, Gua Musang district, Kelantan, Malaysia. Commissioned in 2015, the plant has been in operation for approximately 11 years and continues to contribute to the region’s renewable energy supply. The plant was initially developed by Pesaka Technologies Sdn. Bhd. However, due to operational challenges, the asset was placed under a Receiver and Manager (R&M) in 2021. Hydro Xperts Sdn. Bhd. (HXSB) later acquired the plant, with the official handover completed in December 2023. Following the acquisition, Multi Skilled Ventures Sdn. Bhd. entered into a joint venture with HXSB to jointly oversee the operation and maintenance of the plant. Since taking over management, the plant’s generation performance has improved over time.
